Parents Relations Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Parents Relations Executive to join us at GEMS Education. The role supports the principal in building a strong, active parent community that underpins the school’s culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead school tours for prospective parents, showcasing the school’s unique selling points to meet enrolment targets.
• Manage the Front of House/Reception, delivering high‑quality customer service across all parent touchpoints.
• Develop and maintain communication channels such as newsletters to keep parents informed and drive retention.
• Organise parent and community events to increase engagement and support school activities.
• Produce promotional stories and photographic material for internal newsletters, website, LCD screens and other channels, in English and Arabic as required.
• Implement retention strategies and conduct regular parent surveys, analysing feedback and recommending actions.
• Assist the corporate marketing team in executing the school’s marketing strategy and keep digital materials up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with the principal and registrar to create an events calendar that supports enrolment activities.

Required profile

• A college degree (BA/BSc) from a reputable university is desirable.
• Minimum two years of experience in a customer‑service focused role with proven sales target achievement.
• Strong relationship‑management skills, able to build and influence professional and parental networks.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Interpersonal skills to operate effectively in a diverse environment.

Required skills

• Solid time‑management and ability to multitask during peak periods.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of technology for presentations.
• Analytical thinking for survey analysis and recommendation development.
• Handling of social‑media platforms for school promotion.
