Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive is responsible for greeting patients, managing registrations, handling billing and insurance queries, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine information.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up to date.
• Provide insurance coverage information, collect co‑payments, and process claim forms.
• Handle cash, credit card, and cheque collections and ensure accurate end‑of‑shift processing.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills, and assist patients with payment queries.
• Answer telephone inquiries, respond to emails promptly, and ensure complaints are handled professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules, and doctor rosters.

Required profile

• College degree or diploma in any discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, staff, and management.
• Commitment to confidentiality, infection control, patient safety, and compliance with NMC and JCI regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hospital Information Systems and basic billing software.
• Ability to handle cash, credit card, and cheque transactions accurately.
• Effective communication skills for phone, email, and face‑to‑face interactions.
