Patient Admin Executive - UAEN

About the role

Speciality Hospital Abu Dhabi is hiring a Patient Admin Executive for its UAEN unit. The role covers front-desk reception, appointment management, patient registration, insurance guidance and billing, working across shifts and following the hospital's policies and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the right departments and give routine information about the hospital.
• Handle telephone inquiries and pass details to the relevant doctor or nurse for callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including no-shows, rescheduling and confirmations; register new patients and keep current records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect payments and co-payments, provide claim forms and issue bills and invoices for outstanding balances, co-pays and deductibles.
• Process patient invoices for consultations, treatments and diagnostic tests, record charges accurately and help patients understand their statements.
• Facilitate daily cash collection, credit card slips and cheque deposits, processing them accurately at the end of each shift.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic times, appointment durations, doctors' duty rosters and booking procedures.
• Follow the duty roster, check emails daily, handle complaints professionally and keep the reception area safe and clean.
• Take part in hospital training, quality improvement and quality assurance activities, and follow NMC, infection control, patient safety and JCI regulations.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or a related field.
• Ability to work in shifts and follow the team leader's schedule.
• Good interpersonal skills, confidentiality and attention to data accuracy.
