Patient Coordinator

About the role

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital, a medical and cosmetic facility in Dubai Healthcare City, is hiring a full-time, on-site Patient Coordinator. The role supports patients throughout their journey at the hospital, working with medical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and manage appointment schedules.
• Coordinate consultations and follow-up visits.
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries and give clear information about services and procedures.
• Keep patient records and documentation accurate and up to date.
• Guide patients and their families through admissions, billing processes and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and a high standard of service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hospital, clinic or medical spa environment is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and stay accurate in a fast-paced setting.
• High level of discretion, customer service orientation and cultural sensitivity.
• Knowledge of English required; additional languages such as Arabic are required.

Required skills

• Front-desk and receptionist skills, including professional phone etiquette.
• Appointment scheduling and coordination of patient visits and follow-ups.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare administration.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse patients and staff.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and patient management software.
