Pediatrics RMO - Locum

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group based in the UAE, is hiring a locum paediatric registrar (RMO) for its network of facilities in Dubai, including Fakeeh MediCenters and the Fakeeh Smart Clinic. The role suits candidates with hands-on experience in paediatric inpatient care and emergency department services, able to manage acute paediatric cases under the supervision of a consultant or specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for paediatric patients.
• Manage paediatric inpatients, including daily ward rounds, treatment planning and follow-ups.
• Assess and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department and respond to paediatric emergencies, escalating cases when needed.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records.
• Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers about diagnosis, treatment plans and progress.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience in paediatric inpatient care and emergency department services.
• Ability to manage acute paediatric cases under the supervision of a consultant or specialist.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining high standards of patient safety and clinical care.
