Pharmacist – Inpatient & Outpatient Care

About the role

The pharmacist will provide safe pharmaceutical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient clinics at Erada Center, ensuring optimal medication use in line with approved standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate medical prescriptions and treatment plans for appropriateness and safety, communicating with physicians as needed.
• Conduct monthly medication audits, document results and report key performance indicators.
• Organize and deliver training on medication policies and therapeutic protocols for healthcare staff.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and verify stock across pharmacy, medication stores, nursing stations and emergency carts.
• Assess external medications brought by patients for storage conditions and expiry, coordinating use with treating physicians.
• Assist in selection and procurement of medicines and supplies in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
• Manage medication refilling processes, replenish and operate automated dispensing cabinets and unit‑dose dispensing systems.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• New graduate up to 3 years of practical pharmacy experience.
• Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) pharmacy license or equivalent UAE authority.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Operation of automated medication dispensing cabinets.
• Use of unit‑dose dispensing systems.
• Medication inventory management and audit reporting.
