Physical Education Teacher (Female) – K‑12

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Mushrif is seeking a motivated Female Physical Education Teacher to join its K‑12 academic team for the upcoming year. The role involves delivering a comprehensive American‑curriculum PE program and promoting an active, healthy lifestyle among students.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess age‑appropriate PE lessons aligned with American standards (e.g., SHAPE America).
• Manage PE equipment and facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with health protocols.
• Coach school sports teams and lead extracurricular physical activities.
• Integrate technology such as fitness apps and interactive tools into instruction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Science or related field.
• Valid K‑12 teaching license from a recognized US state or equivalent.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time PE teaching experience, preferably in an American‑curriculum international school.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ADEK teacher licensing.

• Formative and summative assessment methodologies specific to physical education.
