Physiotherapist

About the role

The Physiotherapist will work within the NMCRH-DIP philosophy to assess, treat and rehabilitate patients with physical difficulties arising from illness, injury, disability or ageing. The role involves delivering evidence‑based physiotherapy services in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify patients' physical problems and develop individualized treatment programmes.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and IDD therapy for musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions.
• Assist patients with joint and spinal issues, especially post‑surgery, and support rehabilitation after accidents, injuries or stroke.
• Maintain accurate patient case notes, collect statistics and report adverse clinical events.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, education programmes and continuous quality improvement activities.

Required profile

• Graduate from an approved physiotherapy program with a current DHA license to practice in Dubai.
• Minimum two years of experience in physical medicine.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hospital environment.
