Planning Engineer for Fire Rated Doors & Hardware

About the role

Join NAFFCO as a Planning Engineer to coordinate production plans, material requirements, and delivery schedules for fire‑rated door projects, ensuring orders stay on track across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review project orders, specifications and delivery requirements; develop and maintain production schedules and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate material needs with procurement and stores, track availability, and flag shortages or long‑lead items.
• Review approved drawings and documentation, circulate revisions, and maintain accurate project records.
• Monitor order status from release through dispatch, prepare regular schedule performance updates, and analyse data to identify bottlenecks.
• Take ownership of planning activities, build effective relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, Supply Chain or related field.
• Relevant experience in planning, production coordination or project scheduling, preferably in manufacturing or building‑materials sector.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, product specifications and bills of materials.
• Strong organisational, analytical and time‑management skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP or production planning systems.
