Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control for construction projects in Dubai. The role works closely with project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules covering tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare execution plans in coordination with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress against approved schedules and identify critical activities and delays.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify actual progress and compliance with approved drawings and plans.
• Perform resource planning and optimization for manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor project costs by tracking expenditures against budgets and identifying cost‑control opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve planning, reporting, and execution processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Ability to work closely with site and project teams.
