Planning Engineer - Primavera P6

About the role

A full-time Planning Engineer position in the UAE is open to an independent, technically strong planner with excellent hands-on knowledge of Primavera P6 and UAE construction experience. The candidate must be able to handle complete project planning and scheduling activities with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Independently develop, update and monitor baseline, revised and recovery programmes in Primavera P6
• Resource and cost loading (mandatory)
• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, MEP, T&C and handover activities into the programme
• Prepare look-ahead programmes, S-curves, manpower histograms, dashboards and weekly/monthly reports
• Monitor delays and support EOT, delay analysis and time-impact assessments
• Coordinate independently with project, construction, MEP, procurement and commercial teams, and review subcontractor programmes
• Understand authority approvals, NOCs, inspections, utility connections and completion/handover requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience
• UAE construction experience preferred

Required skills

• Advanced Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• WBS, CPM logic, critical path, float analysis, progress measurement and recovery planning
• Experience with RAK, Dubai, Trakhees and Nakheel requirements is an added advantage
