Plumbing Site Engineer

About the role

Mira Construction L.L.C is looking for an experienced plumbing engineer to design, coordinate and supervise plumbing systems across its construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and review plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, stormwater and sewage disposal
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, plans and specifications
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other MEP engineers
• Inspect sites to ensure installations match design specifications and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations such as Dubai Municipality standards
• Resolve technical issues during construction and prepare reports and technical documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in plumbing design and engineering on construction projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards (Dubai Municipality, NFPA)
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings, communicate well and work on-site managing several projects at once

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Revit for plumbing design
• Plumbing calculation software and hydraulic modelling (preferred)
