Pool and Beach Attendant

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid is looking for an energetic and customer‑focused Pool & Beach Attendant to ensure the cleanliness, safety and organization of the pool and beach areas while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with seating, and provide towels, umbrellas and other amenities.
• Monitor pool and beach areas for safety, report hazards or emergencies immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, beach areas and recreational furniture.
• Distribute and collect towels, keeping accurate inventory records.
• Arrange loungers, umbrellas, cabanas and beach furniture according to guest needs.
• Report water quality concerns to maintain proper chemical balance.
• Ensure pool and beach equipment is in good working condition and report any issues.
• Follow lost‑and‑found procedures and coordinate with lifeguards, housekeeping and F&B teams.
• Promote eco‑friendly practices and sustainable water conservation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospitality, recreation or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift and carry items for extended periods outdoors.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player able to collaborate with recreation, housekeeping and F&B teams.
• Attention to detail with focus on cleanliness and high hospitality standards.
