About the role
Canadian University Dubai is seeking highly qualified, research-active faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Power & Renewable Energy Engineering. The position is within the Department of Electrical Engineering, part of the School of Engineering, Applied Science, and Technology (SEAST), and contributes to the newly launched Power & Renewable Energy Engineering programme.
Key responsibilities
- Teach students in the Power & Renewable Energy Engineering programme.
- Conduct research and contribute to curriculum development.
- Enhance academic programmes and support academic programme improvement.
Required profile
- Rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, applied research, innovation and industry engagement.
- Experience in laboratory development, programme coordination and student supervision is considered an asset.
- Collaboration with utilities, grid operators or renewable energy organisations is also an asset.
