Presales Consultant – Physical Security

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a customer‑centric Presales Consultant to design and position best‑in‑class physical security solutions for clients across the UAE. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with sales teams, channel partners, vendors and end‑customers.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer business and security requirements and translate them into effective solution designs.
• Provide technical consultation on CCTV, video management systems, access control, analytics, AI‑enabled surveillance and integrated security solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, workshops and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
• Support sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including solution design, sizing, bill of materials creation and technical proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends and competitive market developments.
• Enable partners through technical training and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Experience in a presales, solutions engineering, systems engineering or technical consulting role within the physical security industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
