Preseller - Modern Trade

About the role

PepsiCo is hiring a Preseller in Dubai to support its modern trade stores. The role covers sales target achievement, order generation, merchandising and in-store execution, and requires working independently in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly sales and volume targets across assigned stores and SKUs
• Generate orders from store visits based on stock levels, rate of sale, promotions and upcoming activities
• Maintain on-shelf availability and drive distribution of the agreed assortment and Must Stock List
• Ensure compliance with standards on availability, assortment, shelf position, planograms, pricing and visibility
• Implement promotions, displays, secondary placements and POSM accurately and on time
• Manage GRVs, damages, expiries, short-dated stock and returns, and monitor OOS and overstock risks
• Secure distribution and visibility of new product launches
• Build relationships with store managers, section managers and receivers, and capture competitor intelligence
• Follow the assigned route and visit plan, and report sales, orders, execution gaps and other KPIs
• Work with the KAM, Supervisor, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Sales Operations teams

Required profile

• 2-3 years of FMCG sales or preselling experience, preferably in modern trade in the UAE
• Good knowledge of modern trade store operations and customer requirements
• Strong selling, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Numerically confident with sales targets, stock levels and basic performance reports
• Strong organization, route planning and time management
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• English communication required; Arabic is an advantage
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred or required depending on route needs
