Pricing Specialist

About the role

The Pricing Specialist will manage and coordinate freight pricing requests, sourcing competitive rates from carriers, overseas agents, and logistics partners. The role provides accurate quotations to the Sales team to support business conversion and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and analyse freight pricing requests from Sales, KAM and Customer Service teams.
• Source competitive rates from shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, trucking companies and other logistics partners.
• Prepare accurate quotations for air, ocean and project cargo and update them in Salesforce CRM.
• Issue routing orders once business is confirmed and maintain competitive pricing for key trade lanes.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends, and keep the Sales team informed of rate changes and market developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (logistics or supply‑chain qualification is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing, covering air, ocean and project cargo.
• Proven experience dealing with carriers, overseas agents and logistics service providers.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and trade lanes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience using CRM or pricing systems such as Salesforce.
