Primary Teacher – Australian Curriculum

About the role

A Primary Teacher is needed for an international school in Sharjah offering the Australian (Victorian) curriculum. The role focuses on delivering engaging, student‑centred lessons and supporting the holistic development of learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver differentiated, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
• Foster curiosity, creativity, collaboration and social‑emotional skills in students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Valid teaching licence (e.g., PGCE, QTS, US licence) and a relevant education degree.
• Previous primary teaching experience, preferably in an international or Australian/British curriculum.
• Commitment to student welfare, safeguarding and inclusive learning environments.
• Adaptability and collaborative mindset within an international school setting.
