Principal Enterprise AI Systems Architect

About the role

Core42 is seeking a Principal Enterprise AI Systems Architect to lead end‑to‑end technical design of complex AI platforms for regulated industries. This senior, hands‑on role spans discovery, design, validation and production adoption across cloud, accelerated computing and AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers and translate business, performance, security and sovereignty requirements into integrated AI platform architectures.
• Design and validate end‑to‑end solutions covering applications, APIs, data platforms, LLM services, MLOps/LLMOps, GPU/accelerator clusters, networking, storage, identity, security and operations.
• Drive architecture reviews, technical due diligence and prototype benchmarks to retire risks and produce implementation‑ready documentation.
• Partner with product management to assess feasibility, guide roadmap and ensure alignment from design through production hand‑over.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise, cloud or platform architecture and senior engineering roles.
• Proven ability to design integrated solutions across software, data, AI and infrastructure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence executives, customers and technical teams.

Required skills

• Enterprise AI and LLM architectures, RAG, model serving, inference, agentic workflows, MLOps/LLMOps.
• GPU‑accelerated and HPC platform design, cluster management, high‑performance networking and storage.
• Public, private and hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) with governance, identity, tenancy and security.
• Distributed systems, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and production operations.
• Zero‑trust security, encryption, threat modelling, disaster recovery and compliance.
