Process Engineer

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Process Engineer / Process Design Engineer to lead design and engineering activities for upstream oil & gas and pipeline projects, covering conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering phases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform process design review and verification across conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering stages.
• Prepare and review design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, datasheets, equipment, line, tie‑in, fluid and load lists.
• Conduct PSV relief load estimation, PSV sizing, flare system, knockout drum, pump, compressor and rotating equipment calculations.
• Design separators, columns, heat exchangers, tanks and perform hydraulic and control valve sizing reviews.
• Interface with piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines and participate in 3D model and vendor document reviews.

Required profile

• 8 to 12+ years of process design and engineering experience in oil & gas upstream and pipeline projects.
• B.Tech or M.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 75% marks.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Process simulation tools: HYSYS, PROMAX.
• Flare network analysis tools and HTRI.
• Design and sizing calculations for PSV, flare, knockout drums, pumps, compressors, anti‑surge, settle‑out, steam generation, separators, columns, heat exchangers, tanks.
• Hydraulic calculations and control valve sizing.
• 3D model review and vendor offer evaluation.
