Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead regional commercial buying, logistics strategy and supply‑chain governance for fast‑paced project delivery across the Middle East. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is the primary authority for tier‑1 supplier relations, contract negotiations and end‑to‑end purchasing governance.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and formalise trade contracts, rate agreements and commercial agreements with international and regional vendors.
• Lead purchasing activities for systems integration programmes and major site installations, mapping cash requirements and synchronising supplier disbursements with client milestone billings.
• Advise business development and proposal teams on RFP cost models, market lead times, technical procurement pricing and commercial exposures.
• Oversee port handling, cross‑border customs, municipal approvals and logistics transfers to ensure material arrival aligns with on‑site deployment schedules.
• Establish performance benchmarks, manage vendor onboarding due diligence, conduct operational reviews and resolve high‑stakes vendor disputes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO guidelines and internal standards, support audit exercises and deliver performance tracking reports to executive management.
• Coordinate procurement execution and trade partner networks across GCC locations such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in contracting, systems integration, ELV, construction or similar engineering environments.
• Proven track record in commercial dealmaking, capital project buying and bid/pre‑contract advisory.
• Strong understanding of logistics, customs clearance and site inflow processes.
• Experience managing vendor ecosystems and ensuring standards and process integrity.
