Procurement Manager – Solar & BESS Projects

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead end‑to‑end supply chain activities for Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC projects, ensuring timely, cost‑effective delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement processes for solar equipment, materials and services, negotiating competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Oversee logistics, transportation and warehousing to guarantee on‑time delivery to project sites while managing costs and risks.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews and resolve issues.
• Manage inventory levels, applying optimization techniques to reduce excess stock.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, monitor procurement budgets and implement risk mitigation plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply‑chain professionals, setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of supply‑chain experience, preferably in BESS, solar, renewable energy or EPC industries.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
