Procurement Requisitioner

About the role

The Procurement Requisitioner at POWERTECH initiates, tracks, and coordinates material and service requisitions to support both operational and project needs. The role ensures timely availability of items while adhering to internal procurement policies and budget controls.

Key responsibilities

• Raise purchase requisitions for materials, equipment, and services in line with project and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with end users, engineering, finance, maintenance, and warehouse teams to validate specifications.
• Verify that all requisitions comply with company policies, approval matrices, and budget limits.
• Follow up with Procurement and Supply Chain teams on status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of requisitions, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Support demand planning by consolidating and forecasting material requirements.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to quantities, specifications, or delivery timelines.
• Generate reports on requisition status, turnaround time, and outstanding requests.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and other relevant standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in requisitioning, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Experience working with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
