Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities, ensuring the organization obtains the best value, quality, and delivery from suppliers while adhering to internal policies and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company procedures.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms, pricing, and service levels.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs and tender processes, including bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract award recommendations.
• Manage supplier contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Provide procurement guidance and training to internal stakeholders.
• Track procurement budgets, report variances, and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce or a related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement, sourcing, tendering, and contracting experience, preferably in ICT or high‑tech environments.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
