Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Operations Specialist manages and optimizes procurement processes within the organization, overseeing daily operations, supplier relationships and the cost-effective purchase of all materials and services needed. The position is full time, morning shift, in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies, and track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• Partner with stakeholders to document requirements clearly
• Forecast price and market trends, perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks, and seek reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries and monitor demand forecasts
• Support continuous improvement and identify inefficiencies in procurement processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement or a similar role (about 2 years)
• Strong leadership and supplier management experience
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
