About the role
Join Papyri, a Dubai‑based surface design studio, as a Product Design Intern for a 3‑month unpaid internship. You will work on product, furniture and object concepts from initial sketches to final production details, either remotely or on‑site in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Develop product, furniture and object concepts, including moodboards and design research.
- Create 3D models, visualisations, technical and production drawings.
- Detail dimensions, material specifications and prototype development.
- Iterate designs and prepare final production documentation.
Required profile
- Background in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design or a related field.
- Strong technical drawing skills and understanding of construction, dimensions and fabrication.
- Experience with Rhino, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar software.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong visual and conceptual thinking with curiosity for materials and sustainable design.
