Product Manager, Cards

About the role

Mashreq is looking for a Product Manager, Cards to design, develop and maintain attractive and sustainable card products that drive customer acquisition and sustainable card usage. The role covers product conception, launch, maintenance and ongoing optimisation, working closely with internal stakeholders such as IT, Operations, Marketing and Digital.

Key responsibilities

• Propose card products, define target segments, assess financial viability and market positioning, and set launch strategies and roadmaps
• Explore co-brand and partnership opportunities, prepare business cases and financial models, and align partners and internal stakeholders
• Regularly evaluate value propositions and adjust them strategically and tactically
• Run simulations and cost-benefit analyses, and drive onboarding and integration of partners with Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT and Operations
• Drive product launches, re-launches and maintenance, ensuring all approvals follow bank policy
• Design credit card acquisition strategies covering digital experience, policy optimisation, channel management and performance monitoring
• Work with the risk team to review and improve policies and test programmes to maximise risk-adjusted returns
• Design an onboarding and early account management programme to boost activation and early spend
• Take a digital-first approach to acquisitions, account management, card services, portfolio sales, engagement and retention
• Own the end-to-end customer experience, including service digitisation, straight-through processing, complaint handling and resolution times
• Manage commercial and legal agreements with payments schemes and deliver regular management updates on performance, opportunities and risks
