Product Purchasing Specialist (Fresh Cut Flowers)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Purchasing Specialist for fresh cut flowers to join Gulf Flowers Distribution in Dubai. The role combines market research, supplier coordination, order processing and quality control to keep inventory optimal and the business competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with import suppliers and local logistics partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely delivery of floral décor items.
• Generate accurate purchase orders in the ERP system, aligning with product specifications and collaborating with sales, product, logistics and finance teams.
• Partner with suppliers to enforce strict quality standards, inspecting incoming shipments for compliance with specifications.
• Support inventory management by analysing product structures, monitoring turnover rates and helping maintain optimal stock levels.
• Conduct market analysis, track pricing trends and provide competitive insights to guide purchasing decisions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and inventory metrics.
• Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the floral or consumer goods sector.
• Excellent communication skills for managing supplier relationships and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Required skills
