Program Manager – Portfolio & Governance

About the role

The Program Manager will lead the Corporate Banking (CB) and Private Banking (PB) portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with FAB’s strategic objectives and delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable value. This senior role provides governance, oversight, and executive‑level reporting for a complex, multi‑disciplinary portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Govern the portfolio against corporate strategy, overseeing alignment, risk, issues and benefits realization.
• Prepare and chair the monthly Portfolio Governance Committee, presenting status, health and executive recommendations.
• Define and maintain portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures to drive transparency.
• Collaborate with Business, Technology, Enablement and Control teams to prioritize demand, allocate resources and manage inter‑dependencies.
• Coach executives and delivery teams on portfolio thinking and ensure disciplined execution.

Required profile

• University degree in Technology, Management or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years total experience, including 10+ years in portfolio, program governance and delivery.
• Minimum 5 years leading large, cross‑functional programs in a banking or IT environment.
• Proven experience presenting to senior executives (SVP, Executive Committee) and influencing decisions.
• Experience managing a team of 5‑10 professionals.

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• PRINCE2 (or equivalent) certification.
• Agile/S@Fe or comparable agile certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency – PowerPoint and Excel.
