Project Controls Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join Archirodon Construction’s international Operations Control team for newly awarded Oil & Gas projects in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee all project controls activities to ensure schedule adherence, budget compliance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assign responsibilities within the controls team and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Manage project scope in collaboration with the Project Manager, Operations Controls Manager and Contract Manager.
• Develop and maintain a detailed, resource‑loaded project schedule together with department heads.
• Monitor work progress, identify concerns, and propose mitigation plans.
• Implement data collection systems for planning, invoicing, controlling and reporting, and produce contractual and internal reports.
• Establish and supervise invoicing procedures and cost‑control systems in line with company policies.
• Control project performance against tender and budget, including subcontractor invoices.
• Support positive relationships with the employer’s and engineer’s representatives.
• Identify problem areas, promote corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Assess risks to keep the project risk profile within set limits.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project controls, cost control or related fields.
