Project Coordinator – Construction

About the role

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring and controlling construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to quality and safety standards. The role acts as the communication hub between internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing schedules, work plans and resource allocation.
• Coordinate daily activities on site, with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Track project progress, identify risks and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards and meeting minutes.
• Work with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply‑chain issues.
• Serve as liaison for clients, consultants and internal departments, following up on approvals and correspondence.
• Support quality assurance procedures and monitor compliance with specifications and contractual obligations.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance, coordinate safety documentation and report incidents.
• Maintain project files, contracts and technical documents and assist with project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in EPC, modular construction, infrastructure or building projects.
