Project Coordinator - Document Control

About the role

Emirates Electrical Engineering, part of the Al Rostamani Group, is looking for a Project Coordinator in Dubai. The role centres on document control for all project documents, covering data gathering, file management, report consolidation and cross-department support. The group works across many sectors, including construction, infrastructure development and information technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Document Control Management System according to ISO standards, and recommend improvements.
• Handle daily document control tasks: distributing documents, keeping electronic folders and directories, and tracking and retrieving documents and drawings.
• Prepare drawings, computer graphics and other technical submissions as instructed by the Head of Business Development or other managers.
• Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to build tender submission documents and expedite the return of documents and approvals within the required time.
• Manage office and site project documents and drawings, ensuring they are filled in sequence and issued through the transmittal system.
• Maintain, record and control the engineering library of procedures, codes, standards and specifications in the secure document control area.
• Ensure strict adherence to document tracking and distribution standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, computer science, general studies, English, management, engineering or similar from an accredited college; an associate vocational or technical degree is also considered.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
