Project Development Manager

About the role

The Project Development Manager will lead end‑to‑end product development and commercialization initiatives for both new and existing product portfolios within the Food & Beverage sector. Working closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing and other cross‑functional teams, you will translate customer and business requirements into successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Existing Product Development (EPD) and commercialization projects from brief to launch.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop structured project plans, drive governance, manage risks and oversee stage‑gate processes.
• Lead private‑label and customer‑specific development projects, securing approvals and launch readiness.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce lead times and enhance cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Food Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience managing product development and commercialization projects in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Proven track record with Existing Product Development (EPD) and/or New Product Development (NPD) projects.
• Experience handling private‑label or branded product development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver results within budget.
• PMP certification or a relevant Master’s degree is an advantage.
