Project Engineer – Construction

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and day‑to‑day site execution on the Al Jurf (JCB) project. You will ensure that works are delivered safely, on schedule and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications and related documents.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and RFIs with consultants.
• Verify that construction follows approved drawings, method statements and standards.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals.
• Support planning activities and liaise with procurement for timely material delivery.
• Oversee daily execution of civil, structural, MEP and finishing works.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resolve site issues and conduct inspections.
• Manage non‑conformities, maintain quality records and enforce HSE procedures.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site logs and support progress claims and variations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10 years of experience in building construction, preferably luxury villas and high‑rise projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and finishing standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
