Project Engineer – Construction

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is looking for a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and day‑to‑day site execution on the Al Jurf (JCB) project. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, site teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure safe, on‑time delivery of luxury villas and high‑rise developments.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and RFIs with consultants.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, method statements and standards.
• Assist with shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals.
• Support planning activities and liaise with procurement for timely material delivery.
• Oversee daily execution of civil, structural, MEP and finishing works.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve site challenges.
• Conduct inspections, manage non‑conformities and maintain quality records.
• Enforce HSE procedures and promote safe work practices.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site logs and support progress claims and variations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10 years experience in building construction, preferably luxury villas and high‑rise projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing and finishing standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Primavera is an advantage).
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
