Project Engineer - Landscaping Construction

About the role

The Project Engineer at Basatin Landscaping oversees and manages landscaping construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures projects are delivered efficiently, within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards, while following company policies and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all aspects of landscaping project execution from start to finish.
• Work with design teams, suppliers, contractors and clients to align on project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress on site and resolve engineering or construction issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and quality control procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on project status, resource use and risk management for senior management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve workflows and reduce project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Substantial practical experience managing landscaping or civil construction projects, preferably in Abu Dhabi or similar environments.
• Advantageous: additional project management certification such as PMP or equivalent.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of landscaping principles, construction methods and material specifications.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, and a hands-on approach to supervising construction.
• Flexibility to work in diverse outdoor conditions and a commitment to safety standards.
