Project Engineer – Residential Construction (G+4)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to lead the execution of residential building projects up to four storeys (G+4). Reporting to the Managing Director/Operations Manager, you will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Study drawings, BOQs, specifications and contract documents to develop project schedules and look‑ahead plans.
• Monitor daily progress, take corrective actions and coordinate site activities across all trades.
• Manage subcontractors, verify dimensions, levels and quality before inspections.
• Obtain approvals from clients, consultants and UAE authorities (DM, DCD, DEWA, RTA, SIRA) and coordinate inspections.
• Plan manpower, track productivity, attendance and overtime to optimise workforce utilisation.
• Raise material requests, verify deliveries, control usage and collaborate with procurement for timely supply.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, close NCRs and maintain quality records.
• Enforce health and safety standards, conduct toolbox talks and monitor PPE compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, conduct coordination meetings and document minutes.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snag‑list closure and final handover, including certification.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in residential construction projects (G+4) within the UAE.
• Strong familiarity with UAE authority approval processes.
• Proven ability to plan, execute and control site activities.
