Project Engineer - Solar Energy

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead the technical delivery of solar rooftop projects for commercial and industrial clients in the UAE. You will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety while coordinating across engineering, construction, and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and track project plans, schedules, resources, and budgets for the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure project completion within the allotted time and budget.
• Manage project invoicing in line with client agreements.
• Conduct site assessments and coordinate design and engineering activities, providing inputs to generate coordinated drawings.
• Obtain necessary NOCs, permits, and approvals from relevant authorities.
• Liaise with the supply‑chain department for procurement of materials and equipment, supporting sourcing and negotiation.
• Supervise installation works, both in‑house and subcontracted, across multiple solar projects.
• Perform site inspections, performance testing, and commissioning of solar systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing solar or renewable‑energy projects from planning through commissioning.
• Strong ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
