Project Engineer Specialist – Gas Processing

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Specialist Project Engineer to lead gas processing projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing engineering delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project milestones are met within the oil and gas EPC framework.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of gas processing projects, from concept to commissioning.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, reporting progress to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 17 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in oil and gas EPC projects.
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on large‑scale oil and gas projects, preferably in the GCC region.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in ADNOC projects is an advantage.
