Project Finance Controller

About the role

The Project Finance Controller will provide end‑to‑end cost, commercial and financial control for complex engineering and infrastructure projects, acting as the key interface between project, engineering, procurement, construction and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost structures, budgets, commitments, actual costs and forecasts.
• Monitor cost performance, identify variances, recommend corrective actions and ensure cost transparency from contract award to completion.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, cost‑to‑complete forecasts, cash‑flow forecasts and margin projections.
• Support revenue recognition, customer billing, payment applications and invoicing milestone management.
• Review supplier and subcontractor payment applications and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in project cost control, commercial control or project finance within large engineering, EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC or equivalent construction contracts and variation management.
• Professional certification such as RICS, AACE, CPA or CMA is an advantage.
