Project Manager – Civil (Construction)

About the role

The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for interpreting contracts, BOQs, specifications and drawings, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, budget, timeline and resources.
• Monitor progress, manage variations and extensions of time, and keep the baseline schedule updated with the Planning Engineer.
• Coordinate daily correspondence with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety compliance.
• Oversee MEP coordination, material requests for long‑lead items, and ensure all submittals and approvals are obtained on schedule.
• Track project costs, financial performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Manage snagging, final handover and obtain Work Completion Certificates from client and consultant.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of regional experience managing civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, BOQs, specifications and construction drawings.
• Proven ability to control budgets, schedules and handle variations/EOTs.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and MEP teams.
• Solid understanding of quality, safety standards and authority approval processes.
