Project Manager - MEP

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager – MEP to lead design consultants and contractors on key projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Direct overall planning of design and construction activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities.
• Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for defined scope and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and major equipment availability to maximize efficiency.
• Assign construction superintendents, monitor progress, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct performance evaluations, recommend promotions and salary actions.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment to meet schedule and budget goals.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and formal presentations for management and clients.
• Serve as primary contact with client, subcontractor, and government representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large‑scale building construction projects.
• Demonstrated managerial capability and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to identify problem areas early and take preventative action.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of construction‑related processes.
• Thorough understanding of industry best practices.
