Project Manager (Utilities) – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on overseeing PV power plants (500MW+) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) through construction to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project delivery strategies, including budgets, schedules, HSE, and contract management.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks, delays, and technical issues, and report to senior management.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, owners, asset‑management and operations teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, onboarding of project resources, and facilitate knowledge transfer across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of project management experience in the energy sector, with strong exposure to utilities/EPC environments.
• Proven track record delivering PV projects of 500MW+ and experience with BESS.
• Previous management experience with EPC contractors or IPPs during construction phases.
