Project Planning Engineer

About the role

The Project Planning Engineer will be based on‑site in Ajman and will support a high‑volume operation that manages 30‑40 active construction sites each day and deploys over 100 field personnel. The role is responsible for planning, scheduling, resource coordination, progress monitoring and overall project control to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and optimise daily operations across 30‑40 active sites.
• Manage deployment of 100+ field personnel, including workers, technicians, drivers and engineers.
• Coordinate vehicle pickups, tools, equipment and site logistics for efficient daily deployment.
• Ensure the correct quantity of materials, tools, equipment and manpower are ready before site mobilisation.
• Develop and maintain master project schedules and 2‑, 4‑, 8‑week look‑ahead plans.
• Monitor multiple concurrent projects through drawing/approval, procurement, fabrication, installation, snagging and handover stages.
• Allocate manpower according to project priority, trade, workload, site readiness and access eligibility.
• Track community access approvals and verify worker eligibility for each site.

Required profile

• Practical, operations‑focused planner who understands execution and resource logistics.
• Comfortable controlling a large number of simultaneous sites and coordinating manpower, materials, vehicles and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify delays, variances and risk.
• Ability to work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
