Psychology Teacher – High School (Cycle 3)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICSchools) in Al Mushrif is seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher for Cycle 3 (Grades 9‑12). The successful candidate will inspire students to think critically about human behavior and prepare them for higher education and global citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Psychology lessons aligned with the American curriculum and AP standards.
• Design and implement differentiated lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, including ELLs and students with special needs.
• Utilize educational technology such as LMS, interactive whiteboards, and digital assessment tools to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress, analyze data, and adjust instruction to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid teaching license for secondary education with a Psychology endorsement (US state or equivalent).
• 2‑3 years of full‑time high‑school Psychology teaching experience, preferably with the American curriculum and AP Psychology.
• Experience in an international school setting, especially in the UAE or Middle East, is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using interactive whiteboards.
• Ability to employ digital assessment tools for student evaluation.
