Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager

About the role

talabat is seeking a proactive Public Affairs & Sustainability Manager to shape its government relations and corporate responsibility agenda across the UAE. You will act as the bridge between the company, regulators and the community, ensuring that strategic priorities are communicated clearly and sustainability targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and leverage public affairs opportunities and regulatory changes.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with UAE government entities and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and execute public affairs plans across the seven emirates, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft content, presentations and newsletters for authorities, and organize meetings and events.
• Support risk mitigation efforts, including on‑ground and online incident documentation.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, finance, legal and marketing teams to align business, policy and sustainability goals.
• Lead corporate responsibility projects, ensuring alignment with international standards and UAE mandates.
• Measure social impact of initiatives and report on non‑financial performance.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in public affairs, government relations or communications.
• Agency or dynamic in‑house experience with strong project‑management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communication abilities.
• Data‑driven mindset with proven impact in public affairs or corporate responsibility campaigns.
• High attention to detail, collaborative and agile approach, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to work under pressure with high emotional intelligence.
