Public Area Manager – Hospitality

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a proactive Manager for its Public Area team. The role oversees the cleanliness, maintenance and guest experience across all public spaces of the new resort, ensuring standards meet the five‑star brand expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate housekeeping colleagues to deliver prompt, courteous service in all public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with resort standards.
• Plan and supervise deep‑cleaning schedules, special tasks and contractor work.
• Monitor and report the condition of furnishings, facilities and equipment to the Director of Housekeeping.
• Manage rosters, vacation schedules and assist with recruitment and interview processes.
• Ensure all team members adhere to uniform, grooming and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Hold daily briefings, communicate updates and champion company values such as CES and Forbes 5‑Star classification.
• Document operational paperwork (LPO, PO, delivery notes) and track productivity metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising housekeeping or public‑area teams in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of health‑and‑safety regulations and housekeeping procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
• Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections.
• Organisational capability to manage rosters, schedules and documentation.
