QA/QC Civil Engineer – Construction Projects in UAE

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Civil Engineer to join our project team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities meet project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and our quality management procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project’s QA/QC system.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and standards.
• Prepare, review and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and related documentation.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings and method statements from a quality perspective.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor workmanship and enforce project quality requirements.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers and consultants to resolve quality‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience as a QA/QC Engineer on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and consultant inspection procedures.
• Prior experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening or similar technical services is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

• QA/QC procedures and documentation (ITPs, MIRs, IRs, WIRs, material approvals).
• Quality documentation tools and report writing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.
