QA/QC Engineer – Civil

About the role

aasa is hiring a full-time QA/QC Engineer for civil infrastructure and utility projects in the UAE. The role covers quality management on site, from plans and inspections to documentation and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC activities for civil infrastructure and utility projects
• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans, ITPs, method statements and inspection checklists
• Review drawings, specifications, material submittals and technical documents for compliance
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities and project teams for inspections and approvals
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works follow approved drawings and specifications
• Manage MIRs, WIRs, inspection requests, test reports and quality documentation
• Coordinate material testing and third-party inspections
• Identify and close NCRs, corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor quality of excavation, drainage, pipelines, road works, reinstatement and related civil works
• Maintain QA/QC records and support project audits and handover documentation
• Work with Engineering, Construction, Planning and HSE teams to resolve quality issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
• 5 to 8 years of experience
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory)
