QA/QC Engineer – Construction Quality Control

About the role

James Cubitt & Partners is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join its site‑supervision team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring that building projects meet the highest quality standards, comply with local regulations and adhere to Estidama sustainability criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify structural works against drawings and specifications.
• Implement and enforce project‑specific QA/QC procedures and quality management systems throughout construction phases.
• Review contractor material submittals, inspection requests, testing records and compliance reports.
• Liaise with contractors, client representatives and consultancy teams to resolve non‑conformances.
• Ensure all activities comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) regulations and Estidama standards.
• Maintain complete QA/QC documentation and support internal and external quality audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in UAE engineering consultancy and site supervision on building projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of ADM regulations and Estidama sustainability requirements.
• UAE‑based candidates only.
